Summer seduction

London does many things to a person, from completely shattering your idea of space and transforming you into a cynical optimist to seeing 20 degrees as a proper temperature to work on your tan. One thing Londoners don’t take lightly it’s summer. I mean, we may look cool, calm, collected but inside we’re jumping up and down with joy at the mere promise of two sunny days in a row.

So what to do when summer feels so ‘exclusive’? Celebrate it, of course. Dress up, put your best foot(wear) forward, get out of the house and pretend it’s gonna last.

For my first official summer outfit I went for a grey jumpsuit that’s been tantalizing me for a while, a pair of Whistles flats (I call them my fancy slippers), a golden bangle that hasn’t left my wrist in the last 3 weeks since I got it and a vintage straw hat. I went and bought flowers, had a cappuccino at a local cafe then made my way to Hyde Park and sat on the grass for 2 hours doing absolutely nothing. It.was.perfect.
