Barcelona, my love

Barcelona felt like coming home. An unexplained wave of warmth, coziness and melancholy washed over me from the first minute I stepped on its streets.

After just one day spent in this beautiful city, I got this sense of familiarity which took me months to reach when I moved to London, nearly four years ago. I later figured it out; there are so many stunning architectural details that somehow tie Barcelona together that once you’ve conquered an area, the rest of them seem like new chapters of the same story. A tangled, colorful story that was worth each and every one of the curious steps I took, adding up to 32 km at the end of my stay there.
